Gunsmoke, “Prairie Happy” was written by John Mestin, originally broadcast on September 12, 1953 over the CBS radio network.  The Icebox Radio Theater production starred Justin Kapla as Marshal Dillon, Hireth Bones as Chester, Mitchell Erikcson as Tewksbury and Aela Mackintosh as Kitty & the Daughter.  Other parts played by Jeffrey Adams, Dalton Johnson, and Caleb Silvers.  The IBRT’s production was directed by Jeffrey Adams.   This program was recorded outdoors at Smokey Bear Park, Int’l Falls, Minnesota before a live audience.  Copyright 2025 by the Icebox Radio Theater, all rights reserved.  For more information, visit iceboxradio.org.
